Since becoming Dynalectric's chief financial officer in 2004, Ren has played a key role in building the financial stability necessary to provide clients with consistently high-performance systems and services, while maintaining the company's strong market leadership position. He is responsible for the firm's overall accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and general financial activities. He also ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, as well as with EMCOR's accounting and financial policies and procedures. Throughout, his goal is always to maintain sound financial discipline while maximizing EMCOR's flexibility.

 

Expertise

Formerly the owner of an electrical construction company, Ren has over 23 years of accounting and business experience. During that time, he has advised and assisted with financial and work-in-process analyses, budgeting, and forecasting. While working at the operating, regional, and corporate levels of various companies, he has also acquired a solid grasp of each level's importance and requirements. Ren holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Hayward, in business with an emphasis on accounting and finance.

 

The Personal Side

Ren enjoys spending time with his wife Terry, daughter Danielle and son Zachary. In addition to being actively involved in their church, they enjoy hiking, cycling, skiing and other outdoor activities.
