Steven M. Auber

Preconstruction Manager

Value Delivered
Steve helps clients design, budget, and estimate construction projects that provide the power, functionality and reliability required for high-performance facility operation, improved energy efficiency and long-term value. He also works with field supervision teams to ensure that quality and schedule expectations are met or exceeded. And by keeping his preconstruction knowledge of new and innovative field installation methods up to date, he maintains his ability to prepare the accurate and timely estimates clients need for effective decision making.

Expertise
Steve has more than 36 years of electrical industry experience. During that time, he has worked as a journeyman, field foreman, general foreman and project manager. His extensive large project design/build experience includes healthcare, where he has worked with California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), as well as commercial, education and mission-critical facilities. Regardless of the electrical construction project, however, Steve’s practical approach, attention to detail and diverse field experience combined with his construction management expertise make him a valuable contributor to any project team.

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree from the San Francisco State Construction Program. He has also completed his electrical apprenticeship and participated in Accubid’s estimating training course. In addition, he has earned the National Electrical Contractors Association’s code, project manager and cost analysis certifications.
